<p style="color: #ff0000"><strong>FOR SALE through eBay</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Original&nbsp;Oil&nbsp; (36&quot; x 24&quot;) staple free sides&nbsp;by Bev</p><p>The oil painting features a majestic silhouette of an Australian Pelican which can have a wingspan of 8 to 11 feet and weigh 9 to 18 pounds. The Pelican takes a well deserved rest after a days fishing on a protruding pillar and absorbs the last rays of the setting sun.</p>

Nestled at the bottom of Flinders Range the lone country house has a galvanised iron water tank slowly rusting, the tank is a country necessity to get through the many months without rain. The faded few cloths flapping while drying on the makeshift post clothes line is the only sound to break the hot stillness.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

Alyssa&#39;s grandparents are well renown breeders of the mugambi boer goats and show them all around Australia, taking home top prizes for their goats. The 10 prize stud boer goats rest peaceful under a huge gum tree set against the breathtaking mountains. &nbsp;A special gift for her Nan&#39;s birthday.</p>

The geometical shapes were heavily textured onto the raw canvas. With only a few colours the shapes were made to pop, Terricotta being the primary colour and also the colour of Julie&#39;s splash back in her kitchen.</p>

The earth tones blend seemlessly into each other. Iridescent colours of copper, pearl and green were used to&nbsp;illuminate sections and when hit with the right lighting gives off intriguing shimmers.</p>

The background is done to imitate old boards using crackle medium to give it that aged look and painted nails hold the boards together.</p>
