In this gallery you will find a collection of handpainted items that don't really fit anywhere else. Most were painted as gifts or for practice while I was still enjoying the painting style of decorative art or more commonly known as 'Folk Art'.

Well I managed to capture him on holidays while taking a break Down Under on one of our golden beaches. I still think people might have reconized him even with his cool sunnies, sunviser and thongs.&nbsp;I&#39;m sure his Christmas surf board and broadshorts&nbsp;and especially his initals monogrammed, SC, on his bonds singlet were a dead give away. I used gum nuts, flowers and leaves as a decorative element to stay with the Australian theme.</p>

<p>Round Paper M&acirc;ch&eacute; container 6&quot;</p><p>Painted for my youngest daughter Jesynta-Dee.&nbsp;Jesy&#39;s favourite colour is yellow and this little hobbie dressed in the prettiest yellow outfit with one pocket stuffed with yellow daisies and&nbsp;surrounded with yellow butterfies was just perfect for her.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Original Acrylic MDF (60&quot; x 40&quot; without frame)</p><p>&nbsp;7 delightful bears pose for a family portrait. I painted it as a study of different ways that bears are painted using stippled, shaded, rake brushed and fine lines. A fun piece that took 30hrs to complete.</p>

My eldest daughter collects rabbits and was studing to become a chef&nbsp;and when I came across this design by Cheri (Book: Cute as a Button #3) I adapted it to fit the knife block.

<p>Original Acrylic&nbsp;Design (approx 12&quot; high) MDF Ribbish Bin </p><p>This design was made up as the piece progressed and I called it &#39;Four Seasons Park&#39;. Each side is painted to represent the various seasons: Winter&nbsp;has a cute little snowman and a family of pengiuns playing in the snow, Summer has a scene of cool running water with a little bridge, Spring has many different flowers and a childrens playground, Autumn displays the entrance to the park with pumpkins, autumn tones everywhere and bats can be seen against the moon.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
