| Have you ever been in the place of having a lifelong dream, and believing in your heart that it would be impossible, due to your own personal circumstances? My dream is to build an art studio, a place where I can be full-time, painting, and teaching others who seek to learn how to paint. To be able to introduce many more people to the wonderful world of colour, in a place in which they feel inspired to express themselves freely whilst discovering their own particular style, for me, would be the ultimate achievement. When students awaken to their own abilities they truly feel the joy that is the gift that comes from having been able to have finally done it by themselves I could spend hours writing to you about my own sad, sorry life story, but I choose instead to remain determined to stay positive whilst concentrating fully on my belief in my goal for the future. Thankfully, life took me to the brink of sheer desperation and then threw me a lifeline of choosing to either sit in the corner feeling sorry for myself, or come out fighting, in order to achieve success in where I believe I am truly meant to be in this life. This is why I ask for your support, and also for your help. My plan is simple, although somewhat reliant on the belief in me of others out there who may, or may not have ‘been where I have been’. Each month I will be hand painting a different flower, using a symbolic brick wall for the background. May, ’08 sees white calla lilies as the third flower in the "Building a Dream" collection. Each painting will be an original acrylic, measuring 6”x6”. The painting comes on a staple-free sided canvas, with its creation date noted clearly on the back. Please know that your donation will help to bring a lifelong dream to reality. I thank you sincerely in anticipation of that. Don’t forget also to click on the ‘eBay’ link in order to see what is currently available from me, and from current students who now have the confidence in their ability to ‘put themselves out there’. I do hope that you will find something that you think belongs with you! No Donation is considered too small | |
